This is a piece by a good friend of ours at Luxury Milk, year two Illustration student at Norwich University of the Arts, Tom Bentley. Tom describes his practice as experimental, with a particular interest in mark making, colour, and form.
These prints from a series named ‘Here and There’ take you on a journey through how an exhibition becomes an exhibition. It looks at what curators and technicians have to think and do while putting together an exhibition space. With these two pieces, Tom was aiming to show the end result of a gallery space, and then what a viewer would see when they’re in that certain space.
Coming from a group of exciting illustration students emerging from Norwich University of the Arts, we’re a big fan of Toms work. We look forward to seeing much more from him in the near future!
